The 3rd Annual Nanaimo Variety Children's Radiothon is airing on The Wave 102.3FM Wednesday, September 8th & Thursday, September 9th from 6am to 6pm each day. Call 250.760.1220 on the 8th or 9th to donate or click here to donate online. All funds raised will stay in Nanaimo to help local families and children's organizations.
The Variety Children’s Radiothons are annual events that introduce listeners to some of the children Variety has helped in various communities throughout British Columbia. All the money raised during each Radiothon stays in that community to support local families and children’s organizations. It is a wonderful opportunity for local businesses and families to get involved and help children in their area who have special needs.
The success of each Radiothon depends a great deal on local support. Whether donating your time or money, Variety cannot do it without your help. Radiothon volunteers are always needed.
